Comments:	Loving the website! Gets better all the time! Still in search of students who attended Grissom Elementary or Wurtsmith Elementary, (mainly Grissom) before the volcano. Comments:	re: Still need your help with POW project, 1973 at CAB. Special thanks to Jan Davis, '77 (ranjand@eatel.net) and Cissy Morris '78 (armorchick@hotmail.com) for their photo contributions for my POW project. Others have said they will also contribute, and I am anxiously waiting for the mail. It's not too late to include your personal rememberances. Did you keep a scrapbook? Did you save any old newspaper articles, or newsmagazine copies? Have you read any good books that you can reccommend? Are you aware of any former POW's active in your area? Where are they now stories would be a great addition. I have found many articles, photos and historical archives at my local library, but I would still like personal memories. If you were there, please send me an email of what you remember. If you know anyone else who was there please invite them to contribute as well. Comments:	Hi, I was on clark field in 1950 and 1954 and 1955. My father was J.B. Latham and he was a Master sergeant and worked in the Electronics shop on the flight line. He was a B-17 pilot and flew in Europe and was shot down and was a POW. We lived in the Dusty Acre's first in 1950 and moved to the JR Officers Quaters in the Housing area off Dyfss Hwy. The second time we were there in 54 and 55 we lived in the what they called the Barns. They were pre WW2 Field Grade Quaters about a block from the Parade Ground Telephone Exchange. I was 11 years old and my buddies and my self gave the APs and the EDO a bad time as we were always finding ordnance and them taking it away from us. bullets and 3' mortars we found in the large field behind our houses. I was a normal 11-12 year old and had a GREAT time there. I have a lot of great memories. I would like to talk to some that was in Mrs. Charlotte Augustine's 5th grade class 1954-55

I wish I can attend the San Diego reunion, but duty calls and it is a bad time of the year for me to take off. Enjoying my first grandaughter and will be seing her in Nebraska the end of this month. Talked to Brent Crawford two months ago. Saw Alma Reidy and her family and mother a few weeks ago. They came to Myrtle Beach to attend Howie and Terri's surprise 25th wedding anniversary party. Comments:	In 1966 I was active duty Air Force at Clark AFB. I began the school year as a student teacher in the high school band while working my regular Air Force job at night. The first week of school the band director left for the draft. Mrs. Peggy Burton (piano teacher) was hired as the high school band director and I worked the entire school year as a student teacher. I enjoyed the year very much and was probably the best student teaching experience a person could have. I left the Air Force in 1970 and taught high school band for the next 7 years in upstate NY.

Scott McLaughlin, my family and I lived just down the block from you, on Bong Highway, from '70-'73! I had a MAD crush on him in first and second grade at Wurtsmith (one of our teachers was named Mrs. Thomas) and I think he left with his family for an AFB in Turkey, sometime between '72 and '73. My husband and I married in 1972 and will celebrate our 28 wedding anniversary in November. Larry served in the USAF for 22 years as a Navigator. I was always hoping we would get an assignment to Clark AFB! We have three sons, one of which applied to USAF pilot school and is anxiously awaiting for acceptance results anytime! My sister Rita (64) and Linda (68)also attend Wagner/Wurtsmith. All of us will forever remember the part of our lives we shared with one another while living in the Phillipine Islands.......

Comments:	Hello everyone, I'm writing to you all with tragic news. The loss of a fellow class-mate and good friend Chris Torrence. He was killed Friday morning in a car accident in AL. Many of you don't know him but know his sister Stephanie. I just wanted everyone to know a little something about Chris. He was always out-going and easy to talk too. He was the first one to help when you needed it. He always made me laugh, if it wasn't a goofy looks then it was trying to beat me in what ever we did. Chris was very kind hearted after you got passed the tough guy image. To sum it all up Chris was a good friend and I will deeply miss him. As, so many other people will. My sister (Lisa Stacey) and I should be heading out there. At any event, it's a vacation. Does anyone know Joey Hoffman or how to get in touch with him? A lot of these names that are signing the signature book sound familiar. I'm pretty much a Nebraska boy, but I had some great times in the PI. Devron Trout, you sound familiar. I think we all lived in the same area -- 89th through 92nd Street area. The Houghs, DeLongs, Alexanders, and Cathy Knowles. That was awhile back. Anyway, if any P.I. folks come up near Boston give me or my sister a ring. We'll go take in some Samuel Adam's, not as strong as Red Horse, and shoot the sh*t. My sister is a contractor at Mitre and I'm a cost analyst at Hanscom Air Force Base--we pretty much work for Electronic Systems Center. I met a guy here, he's a Capt or Lt -- can't remember, we are in the same master's program and just found out we both lived in the P.I. He moved to Yakota, Japan. Found several names here and elsewhere that I recognize from the classes of '70-'73: Cathy Aton, Terry Cutshaw, John Driscoll and others. Comments:	How cool! I graduated class of 76 San Jose High and I have never run across anything that had to do with that class year til now.I thought the whole class of 76 had fallen off the earth. I have seen other web sites showing other classes.But this is the first for our grad year for any school in existance. Nice to know the 'Spirit' lives on somewhere.
