I know I have a lot of good memories of Clark myself. I worked at the base photo lab after school, if you want to call that work it really was my home away from home. Also worked at the base laundry during the strike in 71. Still looking for a few old friends Mike & Sandy Sullivan they went to San Angelo Tx after Clark and just vanished. I think of CAB often...teen club, band trip to Subic Bay, artillary dump discovered where the new gym was being built, 'Bye, Bye, Birdie', having the Limo carrying the The Rolling Stones stop and ask me if I wanted a ride! (I didn't...I was much too young for those guys! Little did I know.) I would love to hear from classmates Kathy Neal,(Kathy's Mom was our Science Teacher),Jane Clark, Herb Huntley, Steve Butterfield, Jeff and others. I played the french horn in the band, twirled batons, involved in synchronized swimming, was member of the church youth group . I worked in the bowling alley on weekends. My mom taught baton twirling in the Wagner High parking lot and organized that dreadfully long 'What can you do?' talent exhibition in 1965. After 6 hours people were still showing what they could do! To the people who created this website, thank you. What a nice journey back in time. |

| Comments: | Went to 6th-9th grades at Clark. Did go to Wagner for my last year. I remember the end of the Vietnam war and the POWs coming to Clark on their way home. Three of the men came to Wagner to talk to us. Remember 'Operation Babylift' where the Vietnamese children from the orphanages flew to the U.S. and helping at the refugee camps. Brings back a lot of memories of my time there and all the things that we got to do. Have two brothers that were younger than me-Rob Simmons and Michael Simmons. | Comments: | Hi WHS Alumni, You have a wonderful site! I was in the Army Security Agency at Clark for a little more than two years. My barracks was next to the Airmen's Club and across from Pool #3. I really loved Clark and the PI. In a book named 'One to Count Cadence', one of the characters stands on the 3rd floor balcony in my barracks looks around at the pool across the street and then out to the lush green mountains and says to himself -'My God, why would anyone ever want to leave this place.' It is a great book by James Crumley. There was a great view of Lily Hill from the other side of the barracks. Thank you so much for the very good maps page. | Comments: | Had a good time at the reunion in San Diego and then in the PI! If you haven't been to a reunion, check out when and where the next one is. It is truly amazing the bond we all have. In San Diego and then in the PI, an all year reunion, class members from the 50s through 90s all mixed and it was like we'd known each other all our lives. Also, I want to point out that many of the people there did not graduate from Wagner, but attended elementary or middle school at Clark and 'would have graduated' in a certain class year. I made a number of friends that I would have attended school with the one year I was there if they hadn't left for other places (many other places...just about everyone there had attended 4 or more schools) before graduation. Our trip was eventful. We saw the makings of a coup d'etat, arrived just after one typhoon and got to live through another, and many of us found our old houses on base. The talk around town was that future trips to the PI are a possibility. |

| Comments: | i have been back to p.i. many times since high school. i was there for mt. pinotubo and the closing of the bases. the last time i saw the school was in 91', i think. it looked the same and even the smoking area was still standing.i had long hair and was known for being quite the 'pot head'. i ran into susan henricksen in japan and also mark mizell(i hope i spelled correctly)in guam along with his brother mike. when i was stationed in p.i. while in the navy,i went bar hopping at all the bars in angeles city,trying to drink a beer at every bar. i never quite made it to them all. too many bars, too many beers!anyone know where my first love Cynthia M Beard is at? i have traveled to alot of places but ole p.i. seems to be one of my favorites.anyone know where chris revera or timothy sughrue is?anyone know my brother andrew? lets have a reunion at the brass rail bar.anyone remember me being arrested at school one day, or the k-9 dog going off on my locker during a search because there was an old roach inside it? boy the good ole days!!!!!! if you think you remember me drop an e-mail at buyfromme@aol.com |
