Would love to contact Mrs. Williams, my sixth grade teacher at Grissom as well as Kathy O'Neil, Ellen Todd, Danny Sagle..his sister Juanita, and Bob Vickers...(were all there at Grissom between 1969-71). I also love the reunions taking place all over the country and love making new friends from old acquaintances. I use to star gaze at a young beautiful girl named Lucinda Lawton. I was too shy to go up and meet her in 1975, but now I finally get to meet her twenty-three years later!!! |

| Comments: | Gawdalmighty!!! That was a very cool thing to wire all these wonderful people together. On my original 'signon' I kinda gooned it and so I will give it another whack. I transferred to Wagner from O'Fallon Township High, near Scott Air Force Base,in January 72. The Binkleys and Brookes were imeediately friends as well as all the Hill kids like Hugh Tarpley, Danny Franklin,Lew Millet, Flip and Sue Kaplan,Sharon Smith, Norman Paul,Melissa and Melanie Elder, and most memorably: Skippy Strickland. The greatest influence on this youth was the crew of cardshark, golfers led by one Bob Luna. Love to find that guy, by the way. Also,Alfred Arian, Butch Quijano, Dan Maguire, Scott Malander...that was the group... The women were really wonderful: Liz Powers, Lorraine Brooks,all those Binkley girls,Terri Volk,Sharon Smith....but Skippy was #1. Of all my guy friends Michael Ray 'Kid Sally' Spinks was and is my closest. We went to Carolina together..5 years of carrying me must have been a drag, yet he never complained, Last month I had a birthday and of course Michael didn't forget his pal Hugh. Great guy, ya'll. Let's wrap this up with an invite: if you are heading to Chile you really need to call me first....I have lived here 2 1/2 years and hablo Espanol. I work for the Embassy, which can prove useful. After April 99 I will be transitioning to another Embassy....in Brazil, as the assistant Naval attache. I am single and enjoying the weather as they say. It ain't the Philippines, but it ain't bad either. Seriously, I'd love to hear from any of my fellow Falcons, especially the Class of 73.
