My brother and I both graduated from Arkansas State University. He majored in Computer Science and I am a Registered Nurse. I am married with a daughter who is 2 years old. We are stationed at Travis AFB,Ca since 1994. My brother,John, is stationed at a base at Illinoise and he is married to Sherry (Best) Agcaoili and they have a daughter and a son. Comments: 20 years after graduating from Wagner High School I sat in an all night diner reading of the volcano that ended what I considered my greatest days - High School. I cried and thought to myself that there went the memories and that there would never be a chance for reunions. Comments: I attended Grissom Elementary in my third and part of my fourth grade year! My teachers were Mrs. Galant and Mrs.Teketa. I transfered to Wurthsmith for the final two months before the volcano blew and my teacher over there was Mrs. Jackson. I played baseball for the Dodgers and played soccer for the Dragons! I was also in the boyscouts but i forgot what troop, all i know when i was in Grissom the den mother would pick us up and we used to walk to her house! Or the painting of the carabou's red, white, and blue when they got across the fence. I remember dead mans trail and finding a horde of war supplies that belonged to a negrito. I had this guy living under my house in a fox whole trying to get his things back. Then when S.P.'s caught him, he told them i had his things. I had to give him back the items and go to other peoples houses that had gotten things also. what fun sorting those memories. The jungles and the caves. Walking to school watching the truck loads of soldiers riding in the back of the trucks. Getting ready to go through jungle survival. Giving them the peace sign. The Flying Dolphins swim team. The golf and bowling teams. oh. gosh ..i could go on and on.but there just isn't enough room. hello to all.

Comments: First time surfer of the personals. It was great to reminence with the thoughts of fellow Wagnerites... Having moved to Westover AFB my Senior year, the difference between our experiences in the PI compared to the locals I graduated with is incredible. Getting together a reunion for our 10th, 20th, and 25th was difficult. But the bond we all shared through our common experiences makes us one family forever. On a personal note, I spoke with Donnie Green today. He's still hanging in, although the operations and the cancer have taken their toll. Donnie wants and needs to hear from his old classmates and friends this holiday season. Don't worry about what you might say. Just call and give him a heartfelt 'hello' and tell him you love him and care about him and his family. His speech has been affected by the removal of parts of his brain, but he is sharp and alert. Please remember him and his family in your prayers this holiday season. We are one family united by need to reconnect with our past. Cyberspace has given us the means to easily communicate with each other. I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Comments: Actually, I was a disc jockey for AFPN then FEN from 75-78. Many of my friends were students at the HS since I was just a young sailor myself back then. Now I teach 6th grade after a 20year Navy career. At Clark, I did the Midnight Rambler show from midnite to 3 am, then the RoadRunner drive time show in the afternoons. Also did the Nipa Notes show before the TV news show every weekday evening.

AND THE YARD BOYS. sounds like a band! hey what a great place to hang out. still looking for '73 freshman. bob clark, jim hardin, maria smeyers, whoever. i remember standing on the tarmac when the p.o.w.s landed. my dad was osi while we were there and we got moved on base in a day when some black market people tried to shoot him & his partner. remember the 'ghost of mabalackit.'? (spelling?) i was in the boy scouts and we hiked the bataan death march twice, still have the leather patch. married now with 1 little girl. played the rock & roll scene for several yrs. studying to be a pastor now!! still playing music too! SLOW DOWN LIFE!!!going way too fast. dont you wish you could go back and know everything you know now? i found my freshman picture on the net today, everyone at work got a big kick out of it. including me! miss the weather, i hate snow!

Comments: What special memories will a Yahoo Internet search turn up next? I didn't get to graduate from Wagner High, moving as a sophomore in the fall of ‘78. However, my years at Lilly Hill and Wagner Middle School grant me honorary graduate status at least! Many will remember my sister, Sandy Scheffel, ’78, who edited 'Fledgling ’78'. She’s now living in SC with two daughters; her email address is HumphriesS@aol.com. Thinking of Clark AFB, I remember the Thanksgiving Typhoon, frequent power outages, endless “Electric Company” reruns on Philippine TV, our Sew-girl Tessie, lumpia, Royal True Orange soda, and the best school system I’ll ever encounter. My Wagner memories include Mrs. Harmelink’s challenging social study class and Mrs. Nestle’s unique approach to Algebra. I also remember fellow ’81 classmates Cathy Ward, Danny Haynes, Bill Jacobs, Shirley McElhaney, Eugene Piana, Charles Reidy, and two brains, Karen Schusterman and Gordon Magente, who graduated a year early in ’80. Since December, I have been on a nationwide search to find lost Lily Hill, Wagner Middle and High School students (mainly friends who were in the classes 93-96). I am proud to announce that many of my contacts are not even signed up on www.whoa.org

Myself, my brother Jaime, sisters Alana & Eloisa enjoyed our dependent years at CAB. My mother (Emerita AKA: Emy) is Filipina from Davao. In my experience at CAB, there was no other way to enjoy it but as a dependent. The base was one huge installation (for a kid anyway...) for us dependents. I do miss life as a kid growing up at CAB...maybe because I met so many great people there. I hope to hear from some of them soon.

Comments: On February 1, 2000, our beloved son Raymond M. Unsell, JR, Wagner HS Class of 85 passed away.Our entire family has been profoundly moved by the outpouring of love from his former Wagner Classmates. Melinda Roberts (Rogers)currently living in Texas, David Taylor from CA and Joe Keeler from FLA flew into Utah and attended his funeral services. Ray was buried with military honors in the Farmington, UT cemetary. Melinda, David, and Joe have become an integral part in our healing process. Their endless stories about their relationship with our son lightened our burden and the effort and expense that they went through to join us here in Utah deeply touched our hearts. As they left us today, I did not want to let them go, because it was if Ray was leaving us all over again. Thank you for loving our son! The flowers provided by your donations, were placed next to his casket as this would have been a thrill for him. He loved his experience at Wagner and maintained constant contact with his friends. We also greatly appreciated the donations, in his name, to the Make A Wish Foundation. Although Ray is not with us now, we have a sure knowledge that we will have him for the eternities. Our love to you all and may God's blessings be with each of you.

Comments: This is just an amazing website---back to the past. Looking at all the signins with my yearbook on my lap trying to connect names with faces. Often think about Clark...I'm sure this is true of many...growing years in a unique environment but still very Americana. Anyway would love to hear from anyone who remembers me Paula Leibovitz (I think I was shy then or quieter...no longer the case) or my brother Phil Leibovitz (who was 2 years behind me in school...he left after 9th grade)...I went to early 90s reunion in SF and loved hearing the old stories...made me remember things I thought I had forgotton. Also thought some of you may be interested to know that my sister is Annie Leibovitz, well known photographer (Demi Moore pregnant nude, last shot of John Lennon, etc.)...anyway she got her start when my Dad dragged her out to Clark for the summer from Berkeley (his joke in the 60s: you think you got it bad that you have a son in Vietnam, I have a daughter at Berkeley)..she went with us to Japan...got a nikon and started taking pictures. As they say...the rest is history. In her 20 year retrospective book (shown at the Smithsonian and still in bookstores) she has a wonderful photo taken at Clark of two airmen with a negrito women...the picture really shows the contrast of our lives there...tall dominent men with guns overshadowing small different culture woman... Again kudos to those who do this website...

Comments: I haven't visited the Guestbook for the Year 2000, so thought I'd check it out today. I am planning on attending the San Diego and Clark Reunions and am really looking forward to seeing old classmates, meeting new Wagnerites, and seeing the PI once again, although I am braced for many changes at Clark. My siblings are in awe that I am going to the PI. To be honest, so am I. In my book, this is the trip of a lifetime. I can go many places in the world where I have no prior connections and simply enjoy the place for what it has to offer at that moment in time and come away having enjoyed it. But to return to the PI where my adolescent memories have been held in abeyance because there has been no other outlet for them, I could be with a group of 2000 or with just one other person and the visit will have far more meaning and significance than any other trip I will ever take in my lifetime. Remember what it was like to be a child and wish for Christmas to come? This is the excitement that this trip is generating for me. At my current age, to have this excitement again is nice. So I will close my Year 2000 greetings with the wish that many Wagnerites catch my excitement and plan on attending the San Diego and Clark Reunions. Many thanks to John Prunier and the planning committee for being so deeply committed to WHOA to organize this trip of my lifetime!! See you in San Diego and/or Clark!! Be there or be square!!

Comments: Haven't checked in here for a while, both my brother and I (Michael) I think that people remember him more graduated from Wagner High.. Michael in 75' me in 74'. It's great to hear how so many people relive the good ol' days at Clark. I only keep track of one person from those good ol' days, Pat Boyd (now Knight)but wonder were some of you guys are and what you are up to.. Greg Childress , George Chambers (I'm really bad with names and I don't have a year book to look folks up with) but I do remember a few outstanding folks from back then. Bar hopping and jeep-nee's, streaking the bamboo bowl, prom night and many other wild times if anyone wants to take a walk down memmory lane (and help me shake out the cobwebs I'd love to hear from ya. By the way for those of you who remember my brother PYOC and a couple of other groups he's a minister now living in California and getting ready to recieve his 3rd child. Me mine are grown (one in the Air Force, the boy) and the other practically lives on top of her horse. She's the same age now that I was when I went to Clark, BOY DOES TIME FLY!
