Bacon cheese spread

Combine the following and serve with crackers:

1 pound grated sharp cheddar cheese,
16 slices bacon- cooked crisp and crumbled,
2 cups mayonnaise,
1 tsp. salt,
12 green onions-sliced with tops,
and 1 cup toasted slivered almonds

Kylene's Comments:  This is always a huge hit at a party. Fattening but worth every bite!
