The Virgin's last hours!!! SA Here I come.
Linda,
Thanks, you and Sherry were just as awesome.  Now that I've been thoroughly broken in to this "reunion" gambit, I'm sure you will be seeing me at more of them.

Cat

<< I packed a suit case that looks like I'm going back to the P.I.  Scrap books, year books, photos, etc......brought back so many memories.  I packed nervously not knowing what to bring, what to wear.....do I wanna be
 cute or comfortable. >>

Oh Cat!! your suitcase was indeed filled with many treasures!!

thanks so much for sharing them with us!  I enjoyed meeting your and your freinds.......I hope we get to be roomies again sometime!!

Class of 71 where are You
Went to great reunion in San Antonio last night hosted bt 67-70 or so and found no other 71 graduates.  I was in Clark 67-69 but in Class of 71.  Would appreciate it if  it were possible that someone is heading the 71 class and let me know when next function is.  Thanks By the way the San Antonio reunion was awesome-just missed the '71 gang!

Mabuhay Y'all! SA Reunion
Well this is it! Finally!  I have waited almost half my life for this weekend!  I am also part of the taxi service with Gary McQuaid the other half.  He has graciously lent me a magnetic sign for my van that reads WHS Teen Club Shuttle.  Due to his insight (and some talking on the part of Steve "have Golf Clubs Will Travel Marston to the bike police) I was able to park in the shuttle spot in front of the terminals!  I was early picking up Ardis and met some of our alumni.  I was late picking up
MNSusan, Steve and the clubs!  Somehow we missed John Webby Prunier! How did THAT happen! When it was time to pick up Val I thought I was running late.  My two boys and I are running through the terminal carrying my homemade sign that reads "WHOA Mabuhay Yall".  If it hadn't been for that sign some folks would still be waiting at the airport a la John Prunier!  Lots of smiles and pointing from other airport patrons. As we wait at the gate for val  a lady comes through the gate smiles and asks if we are from Wagner.  When I  said yes she introduces herself as Lynn Miller and thanks us for picking her up!  She had no idea how she was getting to the hotel and she came all the way from Alaska.  Great homemade sign!!!!! Then here comes val.  I tell you I think I shed almost as many tears today as I did that day back in December of 1974
when I left my friends, my life and my world when I left Clark. Every time I stepped into the hotel there was a whole slew of new faces. Just this incredible feeling of happiness and of being at home came over me.  I LOVE YOU MAN!  ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,to be continued..................

Mabuhay Y'all! SA Reunion
Hey, Y'all--

I read the (internet version of) today's San Antonio newspaper and couldn't find ANYTHING about the arrival at the airport of a Hawaiian shirt-clad, "lobstah and steamah" gobbling YEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!!  Did Bruce make it there OK???

Whatever happened to our play by play reporters??--must be too much hugging (and chugging) going on!

Inquiring minds want to know.  :-)

On the road again... (SA)
San Antonio, here we come!

It's 0115 Friday and I've just finished printing some photos in my darkroom from negatives taken in May of 1970.  Jeez, the memories came flooding back!

I can't wait!  I'm dead on my feet, but nothing will keep Melanie and I from flying low in the Astro Van, crankin' up the oldies on the way.  If this reunion is HALF as good as last year, it will certainly be a HOOT!

The worst thing about last year's reunion in Austin:  Leaving on Sunday afternoon.  It was a bittersweet departure.  Elation from having met everyone that I'd not seen in 28 years, yet I felt the same big hole in my chest when I pulled out of the hotel parking lot that I'm sure many of us felt when we left the PI so many years ago.  That same sinking feeling of despair, knowing that you may never see some of the same faces again.

For those of you who get this message before heading to Alamo City, please be careful.  Remember that the most dangerous part of any airplane trip is the ride to the airport.  For those of you in the DFW area, please be wary of a '98 Firethorne Red Astro Van.  If Melanie is driving, please get out of the way immediately!  If you want to make great time, grab her bumper as she passes and hang on tight!  Hmmm--I might just have to make her an honorary Brat.....!

We'll see you down there, everybody!
