        I guess I do have a potentially great story for you that is still unfolding.  I will write a detailed story for you this weekend, but for now, here is a summary:

        Becky Char '65 and I dated in the summer of 1962 at Clark AFB in the Philippines.  We were 15 and 16 year old "military brats" respectively.  She was my first love (FL) and it had a lifetime effect on me.  She and I were seperated when our families were reassigned in the summer of 1964.  We have not seen each other since.  In fact, until late last
year, we had not spoken or made contact.
        Through the efforts of our web site, we found her sisters and subsequently found Becky in December.  Our first long distance phone call lasted 7 hours.  Our second call was 8 hours.   So you can see that  we are both very excited about seeing each other for the first time in 34 years.  Our plan is to meet at our school reunion in Charleston, SC this coming July, 24-26.
        I am a widower and Becky is divorced, so we are both unattached.  We also both have children and grand children.  Becky lives in Corpus Christi, TX, and I live in the Riverside, CA area.  She works for the Girl Scouts and I work for Boeing Company.

        None of the above really conveys my very strong feelings for Becky or the agony of searching for her over the years.  I have written some stories that I will gather and send to you along with more details.  I hope this is enough to get you interested.  I'm sure there will be great stories from others coming your way soon too.

I would love to hear more. Can I talk to Becky? Is she interested in sharing this experience on TV?? I can't wait to hear more when I return to the office on Monday.
Thanks again for your email. I think this could be the story I've been searching for!!! Keep me posted on Becky's feelings, for I would never want to do anything she felt uncomfortable with.  But I think it would be a heck of a lot of fun!!!

TLC was not able to film at Austin, but they will be doing more stuff about us in the future.

They were here yesterday to film some interviews at my house.  They also plan to be at CHAS '98 next week.  I'll send out details later today on their plans.
