Pictures making that memory work better

Nice job on the pictures John and Gary! So now I know who Quigly is :) I've wanted to meet quig since he first posted on whoa about his tour of duty in korea. Then he comes over to my house - and I don't think we talked much! I didn't realize it was you! wow... it all went by too fast. Anyway, I now realizze who ya'll are - the lovely gaye everyone has been talking about, Ardis - ok, i was picturing some dude that looks like the guy on HBO - but now I remember the conservative ex-army buddy, and chuck sch____ (I will not attempt to spell that chuck) was the guy who was getting into the classic rock jams blaring from the radio, Linda - not to be confused with the now famous potato salad lady was the cute one hanging around with soon to be married susan d <G>, ahhh...good times....can't wait for more pictures!

Dianne,

partying with the kids was good for my soul. And, of course, I continued my tradition of falling in love with all of them.

You can thank Barbara Long '65 for helping many to make the decision to go to Charleston. Her visit on Sunday was a highlight for many of the younger folks. Thanks Barbara for driving all the way out to Austin to visit!

I think Barbara, Gaye Perkins '74, Jenny Cranfill '80, Susan DiBartolo '73, Linda Vargas '73, Kit Kat Santa Maria '71, Karen Rogg '80, and Pam Groce '73 are kindred spirits. Wait until they meet Kandy! Ha ha. Better call out the National Guard! Or, at least try to keep them all in one area of the hotel, ha ha. Please make sure the DJ adds the macarena (ugh), "Color My World" and the "Disco Duck" to his music collection for Saturday night.

I'd love to have dinner on Wednesday, as soon as we can get out of the airport. I understand that there will be some media attention that evening.

I kinda figured Gary would change his mind about coming. He's found out, like myself, that "reunion highs" are an incredible spiritual experience, particularly when you lack REM sleep for 3-4 days. <grin>

thanks for the memories

to everyone out there--

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

i had the most wonderful weekend i can remember (okay, with the exception of my wedding and honeymoon but we won't go there). just heard from pam groce and she said it best--i've never been so happy and so depressed at the same time--i want everyone of y'all to come back RIGHT NOW and stay here. it's amazing how easily it all fell together again--it's like the last 27 years didn't happen and we're all teenagers again at clark.

it's taken me this long to be able to talk to everyone--and even so i'm sitting here crying because it's over. yes my husband is wonderful but he still doesn't get the deep down thing that makes us the way we are and how special we are to one another.

YOU'RE WELCOME YOU'RE WELCOME YOU'RE WELCOME!!!!! to everyone who has thanked me--it really was a pleasure and a joy and i hate to give it up.

i'm on my way to see the pictures. watch the website for the reunion picture book order form and my final newsletter.

again, i miss y'all. each and every one of you have taken a piece of my heart home with you.

Hi

Hi Guys, Just got off the site looking at reunion pics. They were really good. Thanks for putting as many names w/faces as you did. The flat pics of Susan and Gaye were really cute. My hubby did that w/baby clothes in the crib right before our 1st was born. Try for pillows and wigs in the bed to get a shocker out of them next time (haha). Do they have motion detector things like the frogs/whistlers/barking but that speak or snore... that would be cute too.

What was it that I read about a something happening w/a glass during a meal? Was a prank played there? Please explain, if you remember what it was. Thanks. Hope the Charleston group have at least as much fun, if not more. Countdown time for you.
