Friday at the Lompoc reunion:
Numerous phone calls all day.  Met the group at the hotel about 6:30 in the reception area.  What a wonderful group!  Finally met Rick Masterson 67, a man so tall that my son giggled at me as I looked up to talk to this guy.  Steve Montgomery 87 was there same with another McClellan clan member Pam, her friend Lisa Crooks.  Met Gerri Odone and her nice husband Jim--imagine being married for 30 years and still being happy. (o.k. so I'm a cynic). Kat was there of course adding her usual spice to
the pot of bubbling Wagnerites.   The illustrious Tony Goolsby with his friend Alice were also there. Tony was subdued which was pretty unusual for Tony.  Maybe it was the long drive or just being in California. Bubbly KJ was there along with my bro, Belden.  Between helping mom with the lumpia, shuttling my son back and forth to the basketball game, worrying about the paper, and wanting so much to meet with the group at the hotel, I was pretty stressed out.  Rick and Steve had such an eclectic life that it was really fascinating listening to their stories.  Young James arrived late with his friend from Norway.  Found out his mom was Visaya too.  Apologized for not being able to get another of his classmates to come to the reunion.  My mom had such a great time and kept saying, "I like your group."  Of course, being the mom, she gently reminded me that I had a paper to finish. :::blechhhh:::  Got a flat on the way home.  Went home to work on paper till time to go to sleep.  Figured I could wake up at 5:30 to finish. Was totally exhausted when my head hit the pillow.  More on the next
